Went with Gander Mountain Senkos This Round
Rained all day but as luck wold have it, the rain stopped by the workday’s end. So, made a run to Bethany Lakes. Been itching to fish Senkos to see what Bass are lurking in the ponds.
Ran out of Gary Yamamoto Senkos but did have Gander Mountain Senkos in the tackle box. Went with them and fished Bethany Lakes for about an hour. Caught five Bass which were bigger compared to yesterday’s and the day before’s catch. Also, missed a few others as well.
Watermelon with Red/Black Flake in the 4″ size worked well. Good to see Senkos are consistent producers each year.
Did note that the Bass seemed to want a slower, stop/go retrieve and tended to run with the Senko a short distance.
Lots of fun!
