Tennis Ball Fishing Float, Daiwa Sealine Surf Casting Rod, and an Abu Garcia 6500 C3

Tennis Ball Fishing Float

Picked up a Surf Casting Rod to go with a Penn Squall 15 that we ordered online. Ordered the rod online, too. Still waiting on the reel; supposed to come in later this week.

Till then, put an Abu Garcia 6500 C3 on the rod – a Daiwa Sealine 11′ Surf Casting Rod, and headed to the schoolyard to practice casting.

Used the Tennis Ball Fishing Float that works well for fishing as well as practice casting.

Rod felt good; do need to adjust the magnetic brakes on the reel. Went with all six magnets as a precaution; normally use four. Going to try two next time.

Fun stuff…!
