Back to Lavon for More Kayak Fishing!
Fished Lake Lavon Saturday; no Bruisers but did get a good workout in! Lots of wind and waves but also caught lots of undersized Bass and White Bass. Same setup as before; Crappie Jigs in tandem and then later a Crappie Jig and a Clouser Minnow.
Multiple doubles and steady action once we worked the shoreline areas near Lavonia Park and the Railroad Bridge. Route took us from Lavonia South Boat Ramp, along the Dam face (not sure what to call it), the Dam (where they discharge water), to the Railroad Bridge, and then back to the Boat Ramp.
Google showed the route was 6 miles but did not account for the times we paddled back and forth in areas where the fish were biting.
Great time to be on the Lake!
