Kayak Fishing Sunday

Went Kayak Fishing for White Bass at Lake Lavon Sunday. Caught a number of undersized White Bass but we did end up with seven Keepers and two Yellow Bass.

Nuclaroche caught two of the seven Keepers using a Slab and Jig Rig. After a while, he had to use a Tube Jig as the fish tore apart the Crappie Jig. Fshng84 went with a Slab and two fishing flies – a Clouser Minnow and a Tube Fishing Fly, tied as droppers using the Sabiki Rig Knot.

We trolled the rigs like we normally do, and then switched over to jigging over schools that were lurking off one of the points. All the Keepers were caught jigging!

Fun stuff!

A Keeper This Time!
