Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center- Fly Fish Texas

It’s still raining in our area, but we do see another fly fishing event is scheduled for this Saturday. The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center (TFFC) in Athens is hosting Fly Fish Texas!

It offers an opportunity to learn about fly fishing, attend seminars, and catch Rainbow Trout stocked in TFFC’s ponds and streams!

Sounds like lots of fun, and if the rain will let up by Saturday, the only dilemma to deal with is going south to Athens for Fly Fish Texas or west to Fort Worth for TRWD’s Flyfest!

Can only wish to have problems like these instead of the non-fishing related ones we deal with constantly.

The fun starts at 9AM and goes to 4PM this Saturday, March 12, 2016!
