Trinity River Water District Flyfest

Trinity River Water District (TRWD) Flyfest is this weekend. Looks like lots of fun. Food, wine, and song are to be had, and better yet, you can go fishing – fly fishing in particular for Rainbow Trout!

Never flyfished before? No worries, there will be instructors to help anyone interested in learning. Plus, workshops, demos, and lectures…. and more!

Texas Parks and Wildlife is stocking the Trinity River with Rainbow Trout to better the chances at catching one. So, do make plans to stop by the Trinity and check out TRWD Flyfest!

It’s Saturday, March 12, 2016 and goes from 10Am to 5PM. It is located near the intersection of Bryant Irvin Road and River Park Drive, and admission is FREE! For more details, go to TRWD Flyfest’s website at trwdflyfest.com!
