Found the Pattern!

Did some kayak fishing at Brockdale Park (Lavon) Saturday morning. Things started out slow – one Shad caught while casting to a school of what we thought were White Bass. Other was a White Bass caught trolling the Tandem Sabiki Flies and a Slab Jig.

After an hour without another strike, decided to try working the point using the same rig but casting, letting the rig flutter to the bottom, and then jigging the rig back.

That was the pattern that worked! Caught three keepers and a number of undersized White Bass. Had singles, doubles, and several occasions four on the rig – three on Sabiki Flies and one on the Slab!

Fun stuff!
