COAF Field Team Vlog #16– “A Round of Fishing at LLELA!”

Enjoyed a round of fishing at Lake Lewisville Ecological Learning Area also called LLELA. Went with the 6WT Switch Rod and managed to miss a few fish using Clousers.

Later, switched to an Olive Near Deere under a strike indicator and had a White Bass take it! Then, played with the Buffalo lurking in one of the calmer areas downriver from the water discharge. Finally, ended the trip catching undersized Crappie using a White Near Deere.

Had a lot of fun. Mainly wanted to check out the area and see how it is coming along since the floods earlier this year. Things are looking promising; hope to try LLELA again later in the upcoming 2016-2017 Trout Stocking Season!
